Overview

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Offensive Security team ensures our systems and services meet stringent security objectives for customers. We conduct security assessments, vulnerability research, penetration testing, red-teaming, and tool development to secure our cloud infrastructure. As a Senior Principal Offensive Security Engineer in Ireland, you'll join a collaborative team where roles are built around your unique skills and interests for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead penetration testing and red-team operations against OCI cloud services and infrastructure.
• Conduct vulnerability research, static, and dynamic analysis on software and hardware components.
• Develop custom security tools and automation for offensive security assessments.
• Perform security assessments to identify and exploit weaknesses in OCI systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance defenses.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability building.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and advance offensive security methodologies.
• Document findings, author reports, and present results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red-teaming.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure security (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure).
• Proven track record in vulnerability research and exploit development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar for tool development.
• Experience with static/dynamic analysis tools and reverse engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
