Responsibilities

• Lead the development of generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models, for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Design scalable ML pipelines for data processing, training, and inference at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into Oracle's SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Optimize model performance, efficiency, and cost using advanced techniques like quantization and distillation.
• Conduct research to advance state-of-the-art in generative AI and publish findings.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in ML engineering.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored AI solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to Oracle's AI strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field; PhD preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in ML engineering, with focus on generative AI models.
• Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow, transformers, and large-scale distributed training.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP) and MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow).
• Proven track record of deploying production ML systems handling millions of inferences daily.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
