Overview

Oracle Health is hiring a Senior Principal Site Reliability Engineer for our Federal Operations Team. You will define and deploy key services, focusing on architecture, production operations, capacity planning, performance management, deployment, and release engineering. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance experiences for collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable infrastructure for Oracle Health platforms.
• Lead production operations, monitoring, and incident response for federal systems.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and releases.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement SRE best practices.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Mentor junior engineers and drive reliability culture across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering roles.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (OCI preferred) and Linux/Unix systems.
• Strong proficiency in programming (Python, Go, Java) and automation tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Proven track record in high-availability systems and federal compliance (FedRAMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call experience in mission-critical environments.
