Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to lead transformative initiatives within our OCI Security Platform team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will orchestrate complex, cross-functional programs to deliver a trusted security platform that safeguards our customers' data and operations. You will drive strategic planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with Oracle's security vision and customer needs. This is a high-impact position for a seasoned leader passionate about security innovation and program excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for OCI Security Platform initiatives, from inception through delivery and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and executive teams to define program scope, milestones, and success metrics.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and dependency matrices using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Drive cross-team alignment to resolve blockers, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality security features.
• Facilitate executive-level reporting, including dashboards, status updates, and ROI analyses for security platform programs.
• Champion security best practices and compliance standards across all programs, integrating them into development lifecycles.
• Conduct program reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement processes to enhance team velocity and outcomes.
• Mentor junior program managers and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Represent the OCI Security Platform team in strategic planning sessions and customer-facing discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years in cloud, security, or enterprise software domains.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments like OCI or similar cloud providers.
• Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and program management tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, compliance (e.g., SOC2, GDPR), and threat modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities, risks, and dependencies in complex programs.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource forecasting for technical programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, with focus on security services.
• PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certifications, or equivalent program management credentials.
• Technical background in software engineering, DevOps, or cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in security tools.
• Previous leadership of security platform launches or zero-trust architecture implementations.
• Familiarity with Oracle's product ecosystem and enterprise customer needs.
