Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer for the FDI Data Pipeline team at Oracle in Pleasanton, CA. You will design and implement complex QA infrastructure components and automations to ensure robust data pipeline reliability. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable QA automation frameworks for data pipelines.
• Implement comprehensive test suites for ETL processes and data integrity.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with QA testing workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis on pipeline failures and defects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define QA requirements and standards.
• Automate performance and load testing for large-scale data processing.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.
• Monitor and report on QA metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years QA experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, Java, or similar for test automation.
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
