Overview

Oracle seeks a Senior Sales Director to lead sales strategies for Government, Defense & Intelligence sectors, focusing on Cloud, SaaS, and On-Prem Applications. Based in Reston, VA, this role drives revenue growth by targeting mission-critical solutions for federal agencies. The ideal candidate excels in complex sales cycles and building strategic partnerships within secure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Cloud, SaaS, and On-Prem solutions targeting Defense & Intelligence clients.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies and contractors.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align offerings with customer mission needs.
  • Drive complex deal negotiations, including compliance with FedRAMP and other security standards.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business cases, RFPs, and executive briefings to C-level decision-makers.
  • Mentor sales representatives and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with 8+ years in Government/Defense sectors.
  • Proven track record selling Cloud, SaaS, and On-Prem software to federal customers.
  • Deep knowledge of DoD, IC, and federal acquisition processes (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams of 10+ members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and willingness to obtain if needed.
