Join a growing team responsible for one of the core, mission-critical services in OCI: Telemetry and Alarming. We're seeking Senior Software Developers with a passion for solving large-scale challenges to improve Observability across the whole Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Based in Austin, TX, you'll contribute to high-impact projects driving cloud innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable telemetry and alarming systems for OCI observability.
• Optimize services handling massive data volumes for real-time monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement observability features.
• Build and maintain high-performance microservices using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Drive code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal tools enhancing OCI tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design discussions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python with strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, GCP) and observability tools.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large-scale, high-availability systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for operational excellence.
