Position Overview

As a Senior Software Developer in Oracle's Bengaluru office, you will analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications. You will write code, complete programming tasks, and perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and design scalable software solutions for enterprise applications
• Develop high-quality code using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Perform comprehensive testing, debugging, and optimization of software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ with experience in object-oriented design
• Proven experience in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Hands-on experience with relational databases like Oracle Database or SQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
• Strong communication skills with experience in collaborative team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications or enterprise ERP systems
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud)
