Overview

The .NET team is responsible for Oracle Database integration with the Microsoft .NET platform. Our components and tools include Oracle Data Provider for .NET and .NET Core, Oracle Provider for Entity Framework Core, Oracle Database Vector Store Connector for Semantic Kernel .NET, Oracle Vector Store Provider for LangChain .NET, Oracle Developer Tool for Visual Studio .NET and ASP .NET and .NET Core. Our primary goal is to validate and configure these components by developing automated tests that ensure the correct functionality and optimal performance from the individual APIs and UI Components to fully integrated solutions. By working across such a broad spectrum, the .NET team is uniquely positioned to gain firsthand experience with the latest Oracle and Microsoft technologies, including multi-cloud support for Azure, GCP, and AWS, ODT MCP server support, ODT Select AI support, Oracle AI Chat Web App Project Template support, and ODP integration with the Microsoft Agent Framework.
