Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Bengaluru team as an Automated Functional Test Developer for Oracle Clusterware. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of cluster management software. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality testing solutions for enterprise-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts for Oracle Clusterware using modern testing frameworks.
• Design test architectures to validate high-availability clustering features and failover mechanisms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation and regression testing.
• Analyze test failures, debug issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Create comprehensive test coverage reports and metrics for clusterware components.
• Enhance test automation tools and infrastructure for scalability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews for test code and contribute to testing best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define test strategies for new Clusterware features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ for test automation development.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of Oracle Clusterware, RAC, or high-availability clustering technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with Linux/Unix environments.
