Position Overview

As a Senior Software Developer in our Nashville, TN office, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within Oracle's cloud ecosystem, collaborating with talented engineers to deliver scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions for Oracle databases, applications, tools, and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in production environments to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA engineers to define technical requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Optimize database queries and application performance for large-scale enterprise systems
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with Oracle's standards for data protection
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and team standards
• Develop automated testing suites and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development cycles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with focus on databases or enterprise applications
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python, with strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle Database, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in distributed systems
