Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable distributed systems for cloud logging and monitoring services.
• Build high-performance APIs and microservices using Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Optimize system performance and reliability in multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Implement observability features including metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define service requirements and architectures.
• Drive code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines for production-grade software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy for OCI Observability.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; 5+ years software development.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or C++; experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra) and streaming (Kafka, Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
