Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Nashville team, focusing on building scalable cloud applications using Java and Oracle technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for enterprise clients. All applicants must be physically in the Nashville, TN market or willing to relocate and work from the office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance applications using Java, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database.
• Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs for cloud-native environments.
• Optimize database queries and performance tuning for large-scale Oracle systems.
• Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements and user stories.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Oracle DevOps tools.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and ensure on-time delivery of features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c+ and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in OCI, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN.
