Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) in OCI AI Applications, you will develop and maintain components of our SaaS application powered by LLM-serving and agentic AI technologies. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement scalable services, automate deployments, and ensure operational excellence in production. This hands-on role in Seattle, WA advances expertise in distributed systems and AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices for LLM-serving and AI agent frameworks.
• Develop and maintain high-performance SaaS application components.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using modern DevOps tools.
• Optimize distributed systems for reliability, latency, and throughput in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into user-facing services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to uphold operational excellence.
• Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; 5+ years in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for backend services.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (OCI/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Proven track record of production systems at scale; excellent problem-solving skills.
