Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications for government defense and intelligence missions.
• Lead architecture decisions for high-performance, secure software systems using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability in multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to Oracle's innovation roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience in cloud-native applications.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Go, or C++ with strong object-oriented design skills.
• Proficiency in AWS, Oracle Cloud, or Azure, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Active U.S. security clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and ability to work in Reston, VA.
