Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks in cloud services to enhance throughput and latency.
• Design and implement scalable system architectures for high-traffic Oracle Cloud environments.
• Conduct performance profiling, benchmarking, and tuning of Java-based microservices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate performance monitoring and alerting systems.
• Develop automated testing frameworks for load, stress, and endurance testing.
• Investigate and resolve production performance issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Contribute to performance best practices and documentation for cloud platform teams.
• Mentor junior engineers on performance optimization techniques and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on system performance.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C++ with expertise in JVM tuning and garbage collection.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing (OCI, AWS, or Azure) and distributed systems.
• Experience with performance tools like Flame Graphs, Perf, JFR, and Prometheus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
