Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for Oracle Base Database Service.
• Support and maintain a fleet of 60k+ database systems.
• Optimize database performance across multi-cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Drive innovation in DBaaS capabilities and scalability.
• Ensure operational excellence and high availability of services.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with databases.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database or similar RDBMS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
