Position Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (SE II and above) who is self-directed, decisive, and reliable—someone who can take a loosely defined problem, clarify requirements, make sound technical decisions, and deliver production-quality software end-to-end. You will collaborate with a distributed team but are expected to be self-sufficient and not require day-to-day handholding. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within Oracle's cloud ecosystem, contributing to scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using modern web technologies and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Lead end-to-end feature development, from requirement gathering to production deployment and monitoring.
• Architect scalable, performant systems handling high-volume enterprise data and user traffic.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and distributed engineering teams to refine technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust error handling.
• Integrate front-end components with backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices adoption.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes.
• Monitor production systems, analyze metrics, and proactively resolve scalability bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience (SE II level or above).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks like Angular/Vue), and Node.js.
• Strong experience with backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Go, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle DB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and deliver high-quality results.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle technologies such as OCI services, Oracle APEX, or Fusion Middleware.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Oracle DevOps.
• Experience in enterprise software development for finance, HCM, or ERP domains.
