Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack with Java to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions. These solutions enable seamless communication between patients, medical professionals, and healthcare systems in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fullstack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for conversational AI and clinical automation platforms.
• Integrate machine learning models and NLP services into healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and healthcare experts to define technical requirements and solution architecture.
• Implement secure, HIPAA-compliant data handling and patient communication features.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile team processes and sprint planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) or conversational AI is a plus.
