Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance DDoS detection algorithms at cloud scale.
• Build and optimize mitigation systems for real-time threat response.
• Automate end-to-end operations for edge security services using IaC and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer-facing DDoS features.
• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant systems handling massive traffic volumes.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for global edge deployments.
• Conduct security reviews and contribute to threat modeling processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in software engineering with focus on distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Go, or Rust for high-performance networking.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, and DDoS attack vectors.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, OCI) and edge computing.
• Proven track record building production systems handling high traffic loads.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
