As a Senior Software Engineer in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will solve challenging technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery, and operation of cloud services enabling novel consumer video applications. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud services for media streaming and video processing.
• Build and optimize low-latency video delivery pipelines using modern protocols like HLS and DASH.
• Implement microservices architecture for high-availability streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with product teams to define and deliver new video application features.
• Optimize performance for large-scale video transcoding and content distribution.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and automation tools for production streaming services.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live production environments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or C++ for backend systems development.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Deep knowledge of video codecs, streaming protocols, and CDN technologies.
• Proven track record building scalable, distributed systems handling high traffic volumes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with agile development practices.
