Overview

Senior Systems Analyst - Support role in Taipei, Taiwan, focusing on Oracle Database advanced services engineering. Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and optimization for Oracle DB environments in enterprise settings. Collaborate with teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical database systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex Oracle Database issues in production environments.
• Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization for Oracle DB instances.
• Implement and manage high-availability solutions including RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
• Conduct database capacity planning, monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation using PL/SQL, shell scripting, and Oracle tools.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching across on-premise and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to review and optimize database designs and queries.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and mentor junior team members on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration (12c/19c+).
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and performance tuning tools (AWR, ADDM).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and SQL/PL-SQL programming.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud DB services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
