Overview

As Senior Team Lead, Software Engineering at Oracle in India, you will plan and manage operations for associates handling solution-related service requests, incident resolution, service request resolution, and application maintenance. Lead a high-performing team to ensure timely delivery of support services and drive continuous improvement in processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain robust application performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily operations of the engineering team assigned to service requests and incident management.
• Lead investigation, triage, and resolution of complex technical incidents and service requests.
• Manage application maintenance activities to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Mentor and develop team members, conducting performance reviews and skill-building initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize workloads and align with business objectives.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce resolution times.
• Monitor team performance metrics and report on KPIs to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle's quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 3+ years in team leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Java, Oracle Database, and cloud technologies (OCI preferred).
• Proven track record in incident management, root cause analysis, and application support.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
