Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Principal Consultant in Oracle Fusion HCM, you will lead technical implementations and customizations for Fortune 500 clients, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of HCM solutions. This role demands deep expertise in Oracle Fusion technologies, with a focus on delivering high-impact technical consulting services. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, you will collaborate with global teams to architect solutions that meet complex business needs while mentoring junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.
• Design, develop, and customize HCM extensions using Oracle PaaS tools such as VB Studio, Integration Cloud, and Process Automation.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fusion HCM integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Conduct technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams and Oracle partners.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of HCM customizations to ensure scalability and compliance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and architects to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor junior technical consultants and contribute to Oracle's best practices for Fusion HCM implementations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment guides, and test scripts.
• Support production deployments, resolve incidents, and implement proactive monitoring for HCM cloud environments.
• Stay updated on Oracle Fusion HCM roadmap and incorporate new features into client solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM modules as a Technical Consultant.
• Proven track record of at least 2 full-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM in technical roles.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Fusion technical tools including Page Composer, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and Fast Formulas.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion middleware technologies such as OIC, VBCS, and PCDL for integrations and extensions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical challenges in cloud-based HCM environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in debugging and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion HCM Technical certification (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Implementation Specialist).
• Experience with Oracle Redwood UX design principles and modern UI customizations.
• Knowledge of additional Oracle Cloud modules like ERP or SCM for cross-product integrations.
• Prior consulting experience with global clients in BFSI, Retail, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git for Fusion HCM development.
