Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead complex, high-stakes projects to deliver state-of-the-art data centers at scale and speed. You will collaborate with vendors, internal engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of infrastructure and network initiatives that support OCI's explosive growth. This role demands strong technical acumen, project leadership, and a passion for driving efficiency in mission-critical environments. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data center infrastructure projects, from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors, to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and mitigation plans for complex technical programs.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to integrate network, power, and cooling systems effectively.
• Drive vendor performance through contract management, SLAs, and performance reviews to ensure alignment with Oracle standards.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, escalations, and dependencies impacting data center delivery.
• Implement best practices for sustainable and efficient data center design and construction.
• Conduct regular status reporting, stakeholder communications, and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
• Champion process improvements and automation to accelerate infrastructure delivery at scale.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and Oracle's security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program or project management, with at least 4 years in data center, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar programs with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data center critical systems, including power, cooling, networking, and rack infrastructure.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Waterfall) and tools like MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence executives, engineers, and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, budgets, and schedules in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with hyperscale cloud data center delivery or colocation facilities.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
• Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or network engineering.
• Experience using advanced analytics or AI tools for project forecasting and optimization.
