Overview

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer in Romania, you will deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base while advocating for customer needs. Your role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for Oracle products, resolving complex customer issues efficiently.
• Diagnose, replicate, and troubleshoot software bugs and performance problems.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
• Deliver proactive support through health checks, best practices guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
• Monitor customer environments using diagnostic tools and provide root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations to handle high-priority incidents and minimize downtime.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or systems administration.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle database technologies (e.g., Oracle Database, Cloud Infrastructure).
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Linux/Unix, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in debugging complex distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication skills; Romanian language a plus.
