Overview
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior UX/UI Software Engineer-Front End to join our team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will collaborate with Product and Design teams during the design phase, author technical approaches for building features, and lead breakdown, refinement, and delivery with your engineering team. Ideal candidates bring strong expertise in JavaScript, ReactJS, and TypeScript to create exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate designs into robust front-end implementations.
- Author detailed technical approaches and architecture for new UI features and components.
- Break down complex features into actionable tasks and refine requirements with stakeholders.
- Lead development sprints, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Build responsive, accessible web applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Optimize UI performance, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to iterate on features based on user feedback and metrics.
- Champion UX best practices and contribute to design system evolution within OCI.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern web technologies.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready UI features in agile environments.
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch) and collaborating with UX designers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for pixel-perfect implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
