Position Overview

NetSuite ACS is all about partnering with our clients, understanding and analyzing their business challenges, and finding opportunities to bring value using NetSuite’s solutions. As a Senior/Principal NetSuite Functional Consultant based in Australia, you will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex implementations to meet their business objectives. This role demands deep expertise in NetSuite functionality, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes and requirements to design tailored NetSuite configurations and customizations
• Lead functional workshops and demonstrations to gather requirements and present NetSuite solution capabilities
• Configure NetSuite modules including Financials, CRM, Procurement, and Inventory Management to align with client needs
• Develop and document functional specifications, workflows, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate NetSuite with third-party applications and custom developments
• Provide hands-on guidance during implementation phases, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Conduct post-go-live support, training, and optimization to maximize client ROI and adoption
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the NetSuite practice
• Stay updated on NetSuite releases, features, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions
• Build long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor, identifying upsell opportunities for NetSuite SuiteSuccess

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant
• NetSuite SuiteFoundation certification; additional certifications (e.g., ERP Consultant, Financials) preferred
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end NetSuite implementations for mid-to-large enterprises
• Deep knowledge of NetSuite core modules including Financial Management, Order Management, and SuiteCommerce
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, business processes, and ERP best practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions
• Ability to travel within Australia as needed for client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite SuiteAdvisor or Advanced certifications in specific modules
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld for multi-subsidiary and international implementations
• Background in industry verticals such as manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or professional services
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira
• Experience with NetSuite SuiteAnalytics, scripting (SuiteScript), or integrations via ODBC/REST APIs
