Job Description
Overview
Solve complex infrastructure and cloud service issues at Oracle while building automation to prevent recurrence. Design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and resilient software and distributed systems. Collaborate with SRE teams to ensure full-stack service ownership, security, performance, and operability in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex infrastructure and cloud service issues proactively.
- Build automation tools to prevent issue recurrence.
- Design and develop scalable, efficient software systems.
- Deploy resilient distributed systems for high availability.
- Collaborate with SRE teams on full-stack service ownership.
- Lead capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives.
- Serve as escalation point for critical production issues.
- Drive improvements in service design, automation, and orchestration.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
