Overview

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Japan to solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services. You will build automation to prevent problem recurrence and ensure high availability of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools for cloud infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents affecting OCI services with minimal downtime.
• Design scalable systems to handle high-traffic cloud workloads.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement SRE best practices.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for cloud services.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to accelerate infrastructure deployments.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses to prevent future issues.
• Mentor junior engineers on reliability engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
• Experience with cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call experience.
