Overview

RTHS DevOps manages the CareAware cloud across all internal and client-facing regions, ensuring operational stability and reliability. The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) plays a critical role in keeping systems running smoothly while supporting deployments, projects, security, and new implementations. This on-site position in Kansas City, MO, demands expertise in cloud infrastructure and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure availability, performance, and scalability across all regions.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure changes using CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application reliability and reduce toil.
• Implement and manage security controls, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive issue detection.
• Perform capacity planning and optimize resource utilization to control costs.
• Support new feature rollouts, platform upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud operations roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go; experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and observability stacks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call experience in high-availability environments.
