Overview

Oracle is seeking a Site Selection Manager to lead the evaluation and selection of optimal locations for new data centers and facilities across the United States. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess sites based on infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will drive strategic site selection decisions to support Oracle's rapid cloud expansion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site assessments for data centers, offices, and manufacturing facilities nationwide.
• Analyze factors including power availability, fiber connectivity, land costs, and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with legal, engineering, and finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and feasibility.
• Negotiate land acquisition, leasing, and incentive packages with local governments and stakeholders.
• Develop site selection criteria and maintain a pipeline of qualified locations for future projects.
• Perform risk assessments and due diligence on potential sites, including geotechnical and seismic evaluations.
• Present site recommendations to executive leadership with detailed ROI analyses and visualizations.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging markets to identify proactive site opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in site selection, real estate development, or economic development.
• Proven track record in data center or hyperscale facility site selection highly desired.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in GIS mapping, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills across government and private sectors.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
