Lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s (OCI) Data Centre Operations in Malaysia, driving innovation and ensuring world-class performance in a dynamic cloud environment. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of OCI data centers in Malaysia, ensuring 99.99% uptime and performance SLAs.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data center efficiency, capacity, and sustainability.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service contracts for critical infrastructure.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with global OCI teams to align on standards, best practices, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key metrics, analyze performance data, and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and Oracle security policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience managing large-scale data centers in cloud or hyperscale environments.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking, servers).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and automation tools.
