Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Manager in Hardware Support for Data Centers at Oracle in the Republic of Korea, you will lead post-sales support and solutions for Oracle On-prem and Cloud customers. Serving as an advocate for customer needs, you will manage a team to ensure high availability and optimal performance of data center hardware. Your role drives operational excellence and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of hardware support engineers in delivering proactive and reactive support for data center infrastructure.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex hardware issues in Oracle on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability across global data centers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and sales to address customer escalations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs) for hardware maintenance and repairs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on support metrics to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer focus.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in IT hardware support, with at least 5 years in data center operations and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical support teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Deep expertise in server hardware, storage systems, networking, and data center technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle hardware products (e.g., Exadata, SPARC) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in incident management and SLA adherence.
