Overview

Oracle Government Defense & Intelligence (GDI) invites you to lead from the front as our next Software Account Executive IV, focusing on the US Navy/Marine Corps. Champion their modernization and advance military readiness through cutting-edge cloud technology. Drive strategic sales initiatives to deliver transformative Oracle solutions for defense missions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close complex software deals with US Navy and Marine Corps stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales quotas and expand Oracle footprint.
  • Build executive relationships with key decision-makers in defense and intelligence sectors.
  • Lead solution demonstrations, RFPs, and proof-of-concept engagements for cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, product, and services to deliver value.
  • Analyze customer needs and align Oracle's government cloud offerings with mission requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage sales pipelines, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Stay abreast of Navy/Marine Corps priorities, budgets, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with proven success in government/defense.
  • Deep knowledge of US Navy/Marine Corps procurement processes and key stakeholders.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets in cloud/SaaS solutions ($5M+ annual quota).
  • Strong understanding of FedRAMP, IL5/IL6, and DoD cloud compliance requirements.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; clearances preferred.
