Position Overview

As a Software Developer 1 at Oracle in Hyderabad, this entry-level role is designed exclusively for campus hires, offering recent graduates the opportunity to kickstart their career in software development. You will contribute to building robust, scalable applications within Oracle's world-class cloud ecosystem, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned mentors. This position provides a strong foundation in modern development practices and exposure to enterprise-scale projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality code for Oracle's cloud-based applications using Java, Python, or similar languages
• Collaborate with senior developers and product teams to implement new features and enhancements
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure reliability and performance
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues in development and staging environments
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Integrate applications with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and databases
• Contribute to documentation of code, APIs, and technical specifications
• Learn and apply Oracle's best practices for secure, scalable software design
• Assist in optimizing application performance and resolving production incidents
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized university
• Fresh graduate or final-year student eligible for campus hiring (2024/2025 batch)
• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one language such as Java, C++, or Python
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience with software development tools like Git, IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ), and build systems
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure
