Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Developer 3 to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and develop the next generation Mobile platform for Oracle/Responsys' leading Lifecycle Marketing application. In this role, you will focus on new feature development while optimizing code for superior performance and scalability. As a key contributor, you will build and maintain highly scalable components using Java, Spring, microservices, Kafka, OCI Stream, Object Store, ATP DB, Oracle DB, Docker, Kubernetes, Agents, and UI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices for the Oracle/Responsys Mobile platform using Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Implement real-time data streaming solutions leveraging Kafka and OCI Stream for high-throughput processing
• Optimize database interactions with ATP DB and Oracle DB to ensure low-latency performance at scale
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for reliable operations
• Develop intuitive UI components integrated with backend services for seamless mobile experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver new features iteratively
• Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best practices for maintainable codebases
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments using advanced monitoring tools
• Integrate Object Store solutions for efficient data management and archival in cloud-native architectures
• Work with Agents to enable intelligent automation and orchestration across distributed systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade microservices
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or OCI Stream for event-driven architectures and data streaming
• Proven expertise in relational databases including Oracle DB and ATP DB with SQL optimization skills
• Experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying on Kubernetes clusters
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development principles and scalable system design
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience debugging complex distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing mobile platforms or lifecycle marketing applications
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services including Object Store
• Knowledge of UI frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for responsive interfaces
• Prior work with intelligent Agents or AI/ML integration in microservices
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications on scalable architectures
