Position Overview

As a Software Developer 3 at Oracle in India, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust software programs for Oracle databases, applications, tools, and network components
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect scalable solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and Oracle development standards
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and perform code reviews to maintain code quality
• Optimize software performance and scalability for cloud-based environments like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Integrate software components with existing Oracle products and third-party systems
• Document technical designs, code changes, and deployment procedures for team knowledge sharing
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept prototypes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python programming languages
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle Database, SQL, or NoSQL systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate in team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior work on enterprise-level applications or distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab
