Position Overview

As a Software Developer 3 at Oracle in India, you will design, develop, and debug sophisticated software solutions leveraging AI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and modern development tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive Oracle's cloud and AI initiatives. You will collaborate with talented engineers to deliver scalable, reliable applications that serve global enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions using AI/ML frameworks and Oracle Cloud platforms
• Implement and optimize cloud-native applications on OCI, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Debug complex issues in production environments and implement robust fixes
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical requirements and roadmaps
• Write clean, maintainable code following Oracle's best practices and coding standards
• Integrate AI models into enterprise applications to enhance functionality and user experience
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote knowledge sharing within the team
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites, including unit, integration, and performance tests
• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and monitor performance in live cloud environments
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in AI, cloud, and DevOps to innovate solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java, Python, or similar languages
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle AI services
• Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable, distributed systems
• Experience with modern development tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle database technologies (e.g., Oracle Database, Autonomous Database)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Prior work on enterprise-grade AI applications or generative AI projects
