Position Overview

As a Software Developer 3 in India, you will design, develop, and debug sophisticated software solutions leveraging AI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and modern development tools to drive enterprise innovation.

You will collaborate with talented teams to build scalable applications that enhance customer experiences and solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions using AI/ML frameworks, OCI services, and modern programming languages like Java, Python, or Go.
• Implement and optimize cloud-native applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Debug complex software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust fixes to enhance system stability.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver innovative features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Oracle's best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate AI models and machine learning pipelines into enterprise applications to enable intelligent automation.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites, including unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and monitor production systems for proactive issue resolution.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept projects for new initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud or AWS.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle Database) and NoSQL solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating in agile teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment in India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle AI services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or prior experience in enterprise software development.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., OCI Developer, Java certifications) or equivalent.
