Overview

Oracle’s Health and AI team is building new healthcare services that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide best-in-class services to reduce overall healthcare spend. We seek a Software Developer 3 to design, develop, and build scalable, distributed, and resilient software components for our health care platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and APIs for healthcare platforms.
• Build resilient, fault-tolerant systems in multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Implement high-performance data processing pipelines for health data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Write clean, maintainable code following Oracle best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design documents.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Java or Python.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and agile development experience.
