Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in the JDK and customer Java applications.
• Analyze core dumps, logs, and performance data to identify root causes.
• Develop patches and fixes for JDK bugs reported by enterprise customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on Java SE usage.
• Contribute to testing and validation of JDK updates and enhancements.
• Document findings, solutions, and best practices for internal and customer use.
• Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java software development.
• Deep knowledge of Java SE, JVM internals, and garbage collection.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with tools like jstack, jmap, and VisualVM.
• Experience with enterprise Java applications and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
