Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance Kafka-based messaging systems for OCI.
• Implement scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize message broker performance and reliability for large-scale deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java or similar languages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Contribute to open-source Kafka projects and OCI messaging innovations.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, or Go; Kafka expertise required.
• Experience with microservices, event streaming, and cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of messaging protocols and high-throughput systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
