The Virtual Networking Team develops highly customizable Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) and connectivity services, delivering predictable performance, isolation, and availability. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed networking systems for OCI's Virtual Cloud Networks.
• Develop high-performance connectivity services ensuring isolation and availability.
• Optimize network performance in large-scale, multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new infrastructure features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and scalability issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Stay current with cloud networking trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Go with a focus on networking.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, SDN).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or container technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
