Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices for managing thousands of networking devices in a cloud environment.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant systems handling petabyte-scale data and real-time operations.
• Optimize services for performance, latency, and resource efficiency at global cloud scale.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation for fleet management and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define APIs and integrate with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Write clean, testable code using Java, Go, or Python, following cloud-native best practices.
• Drive technical improvements through code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Java, Go, C++, Python).
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices in cloud environments (AWS, OCI, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols, device management, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering high-scale, production-grade services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
