Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable distributed systems for logging and monitoring services.
• Build resilient, fault-tolerant cloud services handling petabyte-scale data.
• Optimize system performance and reliability for OCI's observability platform.
• Implement microservices architecture using Java, Go, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define service requirements and APIs.
• Drive observability improvements through metrics, tracing, and alerting systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 service availability.
• Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing distributed systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or C++.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, OCI preferred).
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems concepts (CAP theorem, consensus protocols).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
