Overview

As a Principal Member of Technical Staff (MTS), you will own and lead software architecture and components of the SOX Compliance workstream, a critical business priority at Oracle. You will drive end-to-end development, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that meet regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of SOX Compliance software components and systems.
• Own full lifecycle development, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable applications using Java, Oracle DB, and cloud technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and prioritize features.
• Implement security, compliance, and auditing features aligned with SOX regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in mission-critical systems.
• Contribute to agile processes, including sprint planning and continuous integration/delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java and Oracle technologies.
• Proven track record in leading architecture for enterprise compliance or financial systems.
• Deep knowledge of SOX compliance, security standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
