Overview

Oracle is seeking a visionary Software Developer 4 to lead a team in building and maintaining a critical software platform end-to-end. This role demands expertise across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to delivery and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and a proven track record of driving projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team in the design, development, and deployment of scalable software platforms.
• Architect end-to-end solutions using modern cloud-native technologies and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
• Implement and maintain high-quality, performant code using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and optimize system performance.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and lead post-mortem analyses for improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a senior/lead role.
• Deep expertise in full-stack development, including Java, Spring Boot, and cloud services (Oracle Cloud preferred).
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle DB, NoSQL), microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
