Overview

Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Developer 4 to join our Technical Staff in India. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of high-impact cloud-native applications and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive Oracle's innovation in enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex, scalable software systems using Java, Python, or C++.
• Lead development of cloud-based services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Implement microservices, APIs, and distributed systems with high availability.
• Contribute to open-source projects and Oracle's internal toolchains.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong OOP skills.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in databases (Oracle DB, NoSQL) and big data technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
