Overview

The OCI Cluster Networking team at Oracle is seeking Software Developer 4 engineers with strong NCCL and distributed systems experience. You will design and tune ultra-high-performance networks and software stacks scaling to hundreds of thousands of GPUs. This role drives cutting-edge AI/ML/HPC workloads in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance network architectures for massive GPU clusters.
• Optimize NCCL libraries for distributed training efficiency.
• Tune software stacks to achieve ultra-low latency communications.
• Develop scalable solutions for AI/ML and HPC workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cluster networking innovations.
• Profile and debug performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
• Implement fault-tolerant networking for large-scale deployments.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal tools.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience with NCCL and GPU networking.
• Strong background in distributed systems and parallel computing.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and performance optimization.
• Experience with RDMA, InfiniBand, or Ethernet fabrics.
• Track record of shipping high-scale production systems.
